Advice to new students

The first semester is coming to a close and I will no longer be a new student so I would like to give some advice to the new incoming students. First off keep track of due dates they are important. Most professors will not except late work or sloppy work if you do it at the last minute. Another important thing to keep track of are test days so you don't miss a test because there are no make up for most classes. The same goes for quizzes. You also want to be professional, remember you are preparing for a career and you should act like you would in the work field. Treat everyone around you with respect: students, professors, and other staff members. If you want to succeed you have to show up and do your best. You have to show effort on your work and make sure you study for the test and quizzes. Last but not least always ask for help if you need it. Professors are always willing to help and take advantage of the tutoring center.
